UK Filtrona rebrands to Essentra

Filtrona plc will rebrand to Essentra plc from 26 June to create a single identity under one logo that better

conveys what its various business units do, the company said in a statement.

“It is eight years to the day since Filtrona came into existence as a UK plc, yet we have never shared a common identity – neither internally nor externally. While each of our businesses manufactures and distributes a diverse and ostensibly unconnected range of products, what unites us as a company is that we are a leading supplier of essential components to our customers,” said Chief Executive Officer Colin Day.

Filtrona is the only global independent cigarette filter supplier to the tobacco industry. Filtrona’s four principal operating divisions make specialty plastic, fibre, foam and packaging products. (06 June 2013)
